3-3

The God Sri Krishna said that the two methods are for people of different temperaments.A person who has well  developed discrimination power, the path of knowledge is for him and a person who is active and restless – the path of work is for him.A person whose mind is well controlled has no problem as his mind can be moulded into any form.Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa used to say that a man on spiritual path should have his mind like a clay because it will be easy to mould any way.But an active and restless mind will have to be purified first through the path of work and then as the restlessness ends, it will be fit for meditation.

For any physical sport say football, volleyball, swimming etc, warmup is a must.Similarly the path of work is like a warm up exercise and when the mind is ready, it can be easily moulded into a meditative mind. But here one has to understand that “path of work” means one should do his regular day to day work but at the same time offer the fruits of his action to the Lord.Initially one may think as what happens if one does his work from morning to night and then says, “I offer this unto you”, the secret is – slowly the mind starts getting purified.Practise it and see it !

Here Arjuna is confused because Lord Krishna first asks him not to abandon his duty or Karma. Then he says that through Karma one can achieve one’s spiritual goal. But he also says that the path of Jnana is the highest. So Arjuna gets confused and asks Lord Krishna to clarify his doubt.

NIFTY SPOT

In my last post I had mentioned that to maintain uptrend Nifty should move above 6776-6820 range.Or it should close below the strong support of 6740 (Magnet) for a correction towards 6650.Yesterday Nifty closed below 6740 ( Magnet) and today it touched 6665, just short of my target of 6650.As you could see today morning Nifty was hovering around the level of 6740 and fell afterwards. The false break marked on the chart may strech Nifty upto 6608 to the downside, though this is not a rule.
